Ecah month we will highlight a business that we feel should be in the Legacy spotlight.

Hannah Mixes for You |
Jo Andersen is a mother and home schooler of 4 very well behaved children ranging from ages 2-9. She runs a business with her husband; Brian called DBA Construction, a building and contracting company in Chicago.
Drawing from her entrepreneurial spirit, Jo decided to "mix" the need for real life education for her children and her knowledge of running a business to form "Hannah Mixes for You". They offer mixes for soups, breads, muffins and cookies. The kids (with help from mom) have to keep track of inventory, expenses, marketing, and sales. They learn to budget their money, save for the "lean times" and give to their church and favorite organizations. They are also learning how to sell their product. Now, I doubt they ever get doors slammed in their cute little faces, but they still have to muster up the courage to "ask for the order".
Now, I have personally tried their product and I am definitely a repeat customer. My kids love the Double Chocolate Walnut Bread, my wife is very fond of the Snickerdoodles, and my personal favorite…the Italian Tomato and Pasta Soup, of course!
The bottom line is that the Anderson's are a very nice family who are leaving a legacy of entrepreneurship and financial responsibility to the next generations! Way to go!!
